Reliability as a team member will influence the team’s overall effectiveness. Every single unreliable team member will decrease the team’s performance by a substantial margin. Have enough unreliable members, and the team itself will be completely unreliable as part of the business process.

You can also take a more active role in affecting others’ reliability. Don’t hesitate to step up and cover for team members who are struggling with their tasks. In return, you can expect your fellow team members to do the same for you whenever you run into issues with the job in hand.

Expand Your Network
