Welcome to the ABPMP's Certified Business Process Professional (CBPP®) Certification Program.
The Certified Business Process Professional Program is a professional certification program that requires experience, knowledge, and a commitment to professionalism, and is not a training program.
How to Become a Certified Business Process Professional (CBPP®)
Step 1: Review Pre-requisites/Qualifications
See Eligibility and Experience Requirements. There is a major emphasis on experience as a requirement. You will be required to describe in a narrative format that demonstrates your experience in the context of the knowledge areas of the BPM CBOK®. You will also be required to describe your BPM projects, what you did on those projects in terms of the situation and the business processes in focus and what you did to improve or transform the business processes. If you are not able to meet this experience requirement, it is suggested that you wait to apply and invest the time to acquire the requisite experience.
For those of you who believe you meet the pre-requisite qualifications, you are invited to apply.
Step 2: Prepare
The CBPP® examination is a very rigorous examination structured according to the BPM knowledge areas found in the Guide to the Business Process Management Common Body of Knowledge (BPM CBOK®) and tests your multidisciplinary knowledge and breadth of experience as a BPM Practitioner.
